An Overview of Hochiki's Specialist Fire Detection Ranges.

What are Special Applications?

 

These ranges have been designed to provide fire detection or other types of protection in unique environments, beyond that offered by our core fire detection product range. The products use unique technologies that enable them to operate either in extreme situations or within specific locations.

LEAKalarm

 

LEAKalarm,is an innovative new fully monitored alarm and detection system providing protection from the greatest risk to buidlings and managed facilities.Statistics show that the most likely cause of insurance claims in blocks of flats, hotels, retail premises and commercial buildings is water damage.

MARINE

 

Hochiki's Marine approved Intelligent and Conventional products have been designed around the existing world-proven ESP and CDX ranges and have been approved for marine use by both Germanischer Lloyd and LPCB, to the MED approval scheme.

 

Ideal for use on ships, oil and gas platforms, wind farms and other similar applications the Hochiki Europe Marine Range incorporates the same world proven reliability and quality as its land-based equipment.

LINEAR HEAT DETECTION

 

The Linear Heat Detection Cable (LHDC) System from Hochiki is designed to provide early detection of fire and overheating in circumstances where other forms of detection would not be viable, either due to inability to sustain the environmental requirements or through prohibitive costs.

 

Extensive single zonal lengths of the specially designed LHDC may be installed with the ability to trigger alarms for hot spots occurring on very small sections of the overall cable and, providing the LHDC has not been subjected to excessive temperatures, the alarm condition can be reset at the zonal controller.

 

This is particularly useful when carrying out annual maintenance utilising the proprietary one metre Test Oven.

VESDA®

 

 

VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) is a very early warning aspirating smoke detection solution. With continuous air sampling, it provides the earliest possible warning of an impending fire hazard. VESDA aspirating smoke detectors buy the critical time needed to investigate an alarm and initiate an appropriate response to prevent injury, property damage or business disruption

Marine Approved Conventional Combined Rate of Rise & Fixed Temperature Heat Detector (60°C)

DCD-AE3M is a Marine Approved Rate of Rise Heat Detector with a 60°C fixed temperature element using a thermistor and linearising circuit to provide an accurate linear response Heat Detector
