Whilst the situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore is developing and changing quickly, Hochiki Asia Pacific will be taking action to follow Singapore's Government's advice.
Whilst the situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore is developing and changing quickly, Hochiki Asia Pacific will be taking action to follow Singapore's Government's advice.
Singapore's government had announced "Circuit Breaker" measures to be implemented in hopes to slow down new cases of COVID-19. From effect on 7th April 2020, all workplaces except those running essential services will be shut down from 7th April to 4th May.
Following the Government's guidelines on "Circuit Breaker" measures, kindly note that Hochiki Asia Pacific's normal business operations will be affected. With our business continuity plan in place, arrangements have been made to ensure that staff can work from home.
The health, safety, and well-being of all our staff is our utmost priority.
Hochiki Asia Pacific will be implementing the following actions to ensure social distancing will be followed:
• All staffs to work from home unless they are needed to be in office due to urgent requirements
• Ensure the number of staff in the office is kept to minimal, keeping to MOM's guidelines
Amid the current outbreak, Hochiki Asia Pacific would like to assure support will still be available. To ensure our company's operation is still running, all staff will be working from home to attend to any inquiries or provide support.

Singapore Government announced that Singapore will exit Circuit Breaker on 2 June 2020 and gradually re-open economic activities that do not pose a high risk of transmission. Singapore will embark on a three-phased approach to resume activities safely, entering Phase 1 on 2 Jun 2020.
Hochiki Asia Pacific will resume office operations and adhere to the approved manpower headcount allowed by MOM. Our staff will continue to be on a partial work-from-home schedule to provide support.

Singapore Government announced that Singapore will enter Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) on Sunday (16 May 2021). This is to urge the public to minimize social interactions to prevent the spread of community transmitted cases.
Our Singapore office has entered "Work-From-Home" mode and we will also be adjusting the working schedules for other offices based on the countries' situations and regulations.
