Business Development Executive (Vietnam)

As a Business Development Executive, you will play an important role to grow Hochiki business by providing added value to our sales team and partners, which is spec in Hochiki solutions to potential projects.

Job Summary:

  • As a Business Development Executive, you will play an important role to grow Hochiki business by providing added value to our sales team and partners, which is spec in Hochiki solutions to potential projects.
  • This role is mainly involved in networking and consulting activities, to be based in Hanoi but in charge of the whole Vietnam. On top of Hochiki common sales products, you will explore the opportunity to promote Hochiki new products to other project applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue potential clients and project leads from project lead platform or from your network channel
  • Visit, build and maintain strong relationship with targeted key decision makers from Owners and Designers such as Consultants and Contractors
  • Prepare and deliver Hochiki presentations and proposals at spec-in stage and assist their enquiries
  • Regularly share, exchange project information and follow up with sales team until project’s purchase order is received
  • Conduct or join events such as seminar, exhibition or gala dinner for networking and promoting Hochiki
  • Develop market insights of market trend, product demand, market players to identify trend and opportunities for our business growth
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.
  • Local travelling is required upon client or project requirements.

Knowledge/Skill requirements:

  • An understanding of Construction/Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping, Fire Protection (MEPF) industry and their network.
  • Business acumen sense and strong communication, presentation skills as a consulting aim.
  • Good analytical skills, result driven and highly influencing.
  • Able to hunt for new project and new market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and teamwork in multi-department organization


Education/Experience requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business/economics
  • Have 3 years’ experience in business development or technical sales role in Construction/ Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection (MEP) industry.
  • Overview of MEP systems, specification and involved parties in a project basic.
  • Able to source client and project leads from project lead platforms.
  • Be aware of international and local code of practice for MEP system.
  • Fluent in English to communicate with regional colleagues 

Other Requirements:

  • Local travelling is required.
  • Working location will be based in Hanoi
