With global warming on the rise, Vietnam authorities have been putting in continuous efforts in waste reduction management and turning them into new energies. To be funded by multiple sources, the Seraphin Waste-to-Energy plant covering 2.5 hectares at the Xuan Son solid waste treatment facility, equipped with European technology, will get a treatment capacity of 1,500-2,000 tons daily and an electricity production capacity of 37 MW. Construction for this project is likely to be completed in 20 months.
